Why We Built This Site
No single public database provides a complete Fresno County criminal history. The Sheriff controls booking and jail information, Superior Court keeps filed cases and dispositions, and the California Department of Justice uses Live Scan for a person's review of their own statewide record. CDCR custody data and California Megan's Law registry information remain separate. This resource brings those official routes, costs, contacts, and request methods into a clear local reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Record guides: ways to search and understand criminal court case records in Fresno County
- Official check walkthroughs: how fingerprint-based personal record review works through California DOJ
- Agency contacts: direct routes to the Sheriff, Superior Court, and California systems that maintain Fresno County records
- Record relief information: where California expungement and sealing petitions for Fresno County cases begin
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of a California court, law-enforcement office, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- It cannot conduct an official check or retrieve a person's criminal record
- It cannot submit a public-records request, sealing motion, or expungement petition
- It cannot certify a court document, rap sheet, booking record, or other government file
- It cannot provide legal advice about a charge, warrant, conviction, or form
- It cannot promise that an office has not changed its fees, hours, address, or process
Only the Fresno County Sheriff, Superior Court, California Department of Justice, or other issuing office can provide an official record copy.
Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes shown on some pages. Each provider controls its results, terms, prices, and data practices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral payment that supports free access to this resource. We neither set the provider's fee nor decide which records its service returns.
