A query entered in a search box is transmitted to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the terms and supplies its results. Fresno County Criminal History does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Fresno County Criminal History does not host, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It explains how to reach the Fresno County Sheriff, Superior Court of California, California Department of Justice, and California Megan's Law Website. California Penal Code section 11105 limits dissemination of DOJ criminal-history repository data, while the California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 through 7931.000, applies to many existing county and law-enforcement records subject to exemptions. Visitor information is not assembled into third-party criminal profiles or consumer reports, and this service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Independent companies power the search tools. Their privacy policies govern information submitted to them, including how long they retain it and whether they disclose it. Review the applicable provider's policy before running a query because those choices are outside this site's control.
